One Thing I bought at Sock Summit

Was this really great knitted rug by Lantern Moon. It proved you can fit a rug in carry-on luggage : )
I think if I could have I would have bought 2.
For $10 it was a great deal!

Really Needs to Post more often

I even finished a project recently...

I finished knitting the absorbo bath mat from Mason Dixon Knitting... I think I started this some time in 2007 from the best of my estimates : )
I also went to the Fold Saturday Night for Toni's summer solstice sale, I got some new yarn (shocking at a yarn store) and the Baby Yours pattern, which I thought would be good for some of the gender neutral babies coming in the near future. I didn't buy any yarn to make this because I wasn't sure what a good gender neutral color scheme would be. Then I got home and thought RED!

Vacation

I finished my lace ribbon scarf, but sadly my camera is already packed up to go on vacation. So picture at the end of March sometime. I have also made a little more progress on my fishy mittens and have two sock knitting projects in my bag for France!
So more after the 28th!

My memory

Does anyone remember seeing a hood scarf? it was red and ribbed and I remember seeing it somewhere, and thinking it might be cute to make. Anyone have any ideas where I could have seen this?

Calorimetry

Super Bowl Sunday was used to knit a nice quick little project a friend had requested. I had started this before and worked 2 rows before deciding it was going to come out to large. I ripped it and let it sit for a few weeks. I cast on 100 stitches instead of 120 and I worked fewer repeats of row 5 than required to make it wide enough but not too wide.
I think it turned out really cute and think I may make one for myself.
